Ingredients :
- 4 egg yolk
- 20gr Sugar
- 40gr Milk
- 40gr Oil
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 25gr Flour
- 25gr Corn Starch
- 10gr chocolate powder
- 4 egg white
- A pinch of salt
- ½ tsp + ¼ tsp Cream of tartar
- 60gr Sugar
Instructions
1. Sift flour. Prep the pan and parchment paper. Preheat oven to 160 degrees C
2. Add vegetable oil and milk in a bowl and mix until well blended, add the granulated sugar and continue whisking until the sugar dissolves.
3. Whisk in dry ingredients and the egg yolk one at a time
4. Using hand mixer. Slowly and gradually add half the amount of granulated sugar into the egg whites as you beat it. Beat egg whites until they are firm and glossy.
5. Fold in 1/3 of the whipped egg whites to the egg yolk batter at a time until all of the batter mixed together.
6. Pour batter in pan and drop pan on the counter to remove the air bubbles. Bake for approximately 10-15minutes. Cake should be fluffy and slightly golden.
