It was not Savarkar who gave this theory for the first time but it was Sir Syed Ahmad Khan who gave this theory in 1888 in Meerut when Savarkar was just a toad. As per liberals Savarkar gave the theory in 1937 in this Ahamadabad Speech but in 1930 Muhammad Iqbal the president of Muslim League officially demanded a different nation. Moreover there is a Dr. Ambedkar's take on the whole issue.
